Only the most courageous dare enter in search of the Amulet of Yendor! ★
When you enter a room (other than the Shop), there’s a chance you’ll find a Monster (50%), a trap (~17%), an Item (~17%), or an empty room (~17%).
Once you clear all rooms on a level, proceed to the Den to ascend to the next level.
Your race is chosen randomly when you roll a character. Depending on your race, you get an attack bonus against certain Monsters.
Each race has a maximum of 3 hit points.
♥ = 1 hit point
Monsters have a 50% chance of dropping an Item.
For every +1 attack, you are rolling a d6 and then taking the highest roll as your attack.
For every +1 defense, the monster is rolling a d6 and then taking the lowest roll as its attack.
An attack roll is successful on a 4, 5, or 6.
A trap is disarmed successfully on a roll of 4, 5, or 6. Otherwise, the trap is triggered and you lose 1 hit point.
Amulets provide +1 against traps. This means for every amulet you have you are rolling a d6 and then taking the highest roll.
You win immediately upon discovering the Amulet of Yendor! ★
The rules for this game come from the excellent Dungeons & Business Cards (with a few tweaks). The map was created with One Page Dungeon.
